Every Tattoo Has a Story Behind It
I've spent more than 30 years tattooing people.
During that time, I've learned that the tattoo itself is only one part of the story.
The image matters.
The craftsmanship matters.
The composition matters.
But there is always something more behind the tattoo.
There Is a Reason People Get Tattooed
Everyone has a story.
Sometimes the tattoo represents a person.
Sometimes it represents a moment.
Sometimes it represents overcoming something.
Sometimes it's simply an image someone has carried in their mind for years.
Whatever the reason, that meaning belongs to the person wearing the tattoo.
The Experience Matters
I remember many tattoos because of the people attached to them.
I remember conversations.
I remember where people came from.
I remember the stories they shared.
I remember projects that developed over months or years.
Those experiences become part of my own journey as an artist.
A Tattoo Becomes Part of Your Life
Once the tattoo is finished, the artist doesn't get to decide what it means anymore.
The person wearing it does.
They take it home.
They live with it.
They grow older with it.
They experience new chapters of their life while carrying that image on their body.
That's something I never take lightly.
This Is Why I Listen
When I sit down with someone to discuss a tattoo, I want to understand more than the picture they are asking for.
I want to understand why.
That conversation can influence the design, the placement, the scale, and sometimes even the direction of the entire project.
The Tattoo Becomes a Memory
Years from now, the details of the appointment may fade.
But the tattoo remains.
It becomes connected to a particular chapter of someone's life.
That's why I believe tattooing is more than putting ink into skin.
You're participating in someone's story.
And that's a responsibility I respect.
Why I Continue
After decades of tattooing, I'm still fascinated by that relationship between artist, collector, image, and body.
Every tattoo teaches me something.
Every collector brings a different story.
And every project becomes another chapter in the journey.
The tattoo is only one part of the story.
